Hello! I am Mike Lostutter, the
Director of the Pension Fund.
I am originally from Connersville,
Indiana and joined IUE Local 919 when I went to work for
Connersville Ford (originally Philco) in 1970. I
was elected President of the Local from 1977 to 1979.
I then went to work in District Eight of the IUE as an
International Representative and Specialist from 1979 to
1992. I came to the IUE-CWA Pension
Fund as the Director in 1992. Here at the Fund, I
oversee the day-to-day operations of the Fund, including
helping Locals bargain the Pension Fund and the 401(k)
Plan into their contracts, keeping up-to-date on pension
and 401(k) legislation, and ensuring that both Plans are
kept in a tax-qualified status. In
May of 2007 I completed the Certified Employee Benefit
Specialist (CEBS) and Retirement Plan Associate (RPA)
designations. I am a member of the International Society
of CEBS. I represent the
Fund on the Council of Institutional Investors, the
American Association of Benefit Managers, and the
International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
